Kuraoka House in Kauai

Since posting pictures and video here from our trip in Kauai (back in September), this weblog has drawn at least three inquiries for the Kuraoka House in Kauai. In each case, I’ve conducted email dialog beyond this weblog that I believe have led to bookings for the house.

In fact, if you type “Kuraoka House” into Google, this weblog will come up fourth on the list — two higher than the property management company’s listing for the Kuraoka Cottage.

Now if I could only get my portion of the referral fee.

Seriously, it does seem interesting to me how the world has changed. Google makes it so easy to get to information that it has become an important tool in the due diligence process. So maybe Google deserves the referral fee moreso than I do.

For what its worth, Suzanne and I purposefully arranged our Kauai plans so that we could stay there once again. Yes, it really is that fantastic!

And if you’ve stumbled across this weblog entry looking for Kuraoka House information, feel free to comment or email otherwise. I’ll gladly answer any questions you may have. :)

Thanks, Bill, for posting those video clips of the Kuraoka House. If not, we would have mistakenly rented the wrong place! The company that rents the place calls it “Nohonani” on it’s website, though the URL is http://www.napaliprop.com/kuraokahouse. My husband and I were trying to decide between the “Kurakoa Cottage” (http://www.napaliprop.com/kuraoka …another rental managed by Na Pali Properties)and “Nohonani”, so I Googled both of them looking for feedback. The only thing returned, outside of the rental info for Kurakoa Cottage, was your blog. I was bummed, because it supported (I assumed) my husband’s first choice. When I looked at your .mov files, I realized it was the “Nohonani”… my first choice. After seeing your pics for himself, my husband agreed it was just the place for both of us. (He is an incredibly smart man.) Thanks for saving our marriage!

Bill – stumbled across your blog – quite interesting. I ran into it because I was searching for Kuraoka House. We are thinking of going there in April – what is your opinion? Were you eaten by mosquitoes? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Bill,

I’m thinking of renting the Kuraoka house in September for my honeymoon. The pictures you have up are really amazing (and helpful). But the links to the videos you put up are broken. Any chance you could reload them? Also, are there a lot of mosquitos there?

    Thanks,

    Dave
