I’m back…
Its been more than four months since I’ve last posted here. I last posted on Valentine’s Day — a lonely Saturday night as I remember. But anyway, I needed to get back out here and reconnect with my audience.
So where have I been in those long four months? Well, I’d love to tell you that I’ve been secluded away in the making of “The Bachelor” or “Survivor” and that I’ve been fulfilling my secrecy clauses in my contract. I’d love to tell you that its taken me four months to go through the $145 milliion I won in the lottery. But such is not the case.
The truth is that I’ve been here all along with only a brief tour of Finland in May to spice things up. So let me summarize the highlights and lowlights of my last four months.
The highs:
- Meeting and dating Suzanne — its now been 46 days
- Finishing my game room — the Aggie theme works well and the beer is always cold
- Installing my home theater — 106″ screen, surround sound, etc
- Reconnecting with my good friend Trenton
- Discovering the iPod
The lows:
- Numbness and tingling in my right arm — a scare that sent me to the doctor
- The quick ousting of the Stars and Mavs from the playoffs
- Gaining 5 pounds (give or take)
- Continuing to prostitute myself out to Corporate America IT — my creativity and skills are in inverse proportion to my bank account — but this enables some or all of my highs.
So there you go, it feels like I never left, doesn’t it?
